What do you think should get game of the year 2012 ?

I was thinking to myself and i wonder which game should get game of the year 2012 , I mean there has been some big releases this year like Mass effect 3, Far cry 3, CoD black ops 2, Halo 4 etc. So why don't you tell me what you think should get game of the year :thumbup:

My personal opinion: the game of the year should be Far Cry 3. I think it's awesome (and yeah, I know that here, in Romania, this game has just appeared :(, but... it appeared and I can get it

) and very, very crazy and full of action, cool graphics and sounds, so I think it should be the game of the year.

Borderlands 2 for me. Far Cry 3 is a close second, it just felt like it couldn't compete with Borderlands 2 in my opinion.

Although i don't like to admit, i may vote Farcry 3 over Assassin's Creed 3 (even though being a fan of the AC franchise), Reason? Most of the tribe personalities have a very Maori affair, with most of them speaking in Maori e.g. Kia Ora! (Hello!).

Infact, most NZer's may vote Farcry because of this reason. I don't see why not. Assassin's Creed 3's ending was too abrupt, but i may be exaggerating here, then again, all assassin's creed games have a cliffhanger ending, like when Desmond goes into shock at the end of Brotherhood, but wakes up in the Animus in Revelations (playing right now, fucking diificult, unforgiving), See the AC3 ending for yourself.

Far Cry 3. I haven't play this game yet, but.. it's looks so awesome. And the reviews of this game are pretty good too.
Or, The Walking Dead, because the story is just fantastic, sad, and surprising.

AND there's plenty of reasons of why i love the looks of far cry 3.
-Massive open-world enviroment
-Heart pumping shootout action
-Wildlife interaction (I hope WWF won't kill us if they find out about this tiger-hunting-simulatpr)
-Highly realistic graphic
-Complex story and twist
-Plenty of weapons to pick
-SHARK PANCHING SUPA FUN TAIM YAAAAAAA

I played Far Cry 3 and mass effect 3 i personnally think that far cry 3 should get game of the year award its awesome cod bo2 and mass effect doesen't even compare to it its to shitty far cry 3 ftw

I think The Walking Dead is the game of the year hands down.
There have been no other games with characters as well written and well realized as The Walking Dead. And that last episode will go down in the history books among game endings.

The only other game I truly loved this year was Borderlands 2, but it was flawed on a lot of levels.
