My suggestion of a good game to play is the mod called "Hellsound Dreams".
When you start the game it does not give you any text or audio introduction, you are standing in a room having difficulties seeing. Is this a dream world, your house or a strangers home? You honestly don't know. Explore the rooms, solve the puzzles, unlock the doors, hide from creatures, kill them if you dare... Perhaps you'll eventually find your way out? If you survive that is.
This mod's source code is heavily based off a previous Half Life 2: Episode 2 mod called "Nightmare House 2". It is a free mod that can be located here: moddb.com/mods/hellsound-dreams
I have also watched some game play and found that it would be quite interesting for both the player and whoever is watching them play. Here's one video:
