    • Dude, I have no idea what you are talking about. But i think you've played the HALF LIFE 2 it self there. And there are expansions (I guess they are expansions or story continuing stuff anyway) Half Life 2: Episode 1- and episode 2.

    • Here's a quick explanation.

Half life 2 : Shit's going down, Aliens portal and shit
Half life 2 Ep 1: Some more fucked up shit happened
Half life 2 Ep 2: The most fucked up cliff hanger i ever saw.

Still, this is one of the best video games series i ever played.

If you're angry, don't break anybody's heart, they only have one..... Break their bones, they have 206 of them
    • Half Life 2 starts in city 17, where you've been portalled onto an inbound train to city 17 by the G-Man (kinda like your boss/owner) you set out to find out what's going on and you get picked up by your old friends from Black Mesa, you then set out on stopping the Combine overrule (the bad guys) it can be a bit of a slow start but that's mainly cos it's showing off the new gaming engine to show the massive development from the original half life. Half Life 2 is an amazing game when you give it chance.
Then there's Half Life 2: Lost Coast which is an expansion of a missing level in Half Life 2 cos it wouldn't fit on the disk so they played with the source engine and made a cool small expansion.
Then there's Half Life 2 Episode 1 which is great but a bit short, about 4 to 5 hours gameplay, but well worth it, won't tell you the story cos it will spoil the end of Half Life 2.
Then finally there's Half Life 2 Episode 2 which is your journey with Alyx Vance to deliver important data to the resistance which will be used to stop the Combine.

All the Half Life series is amazing, none of the expansions require the previous game to be played, they are all stand-alone games, and they're not really expansions except for Lost Coast, they're more of a contiuation of the story.
Can't believe anyone would sell such a perfect game! :O
