I am going with Sony and for good reason. Not only do they provide a staggering amount of great exclusive titles but all these exclusives eclipse the quality of generally every other exclusive provided by the other two competitors. Sure Skyward Sword and Gears of War 3 were popular games but no one is talking about them anymore while games like Uncharted, God of War, Killzone are all still being spoken about between the press. Even Halo 4 has kind of dissolved incredibly fast after release.

Also Sony provide the best online experience for its consumers not only with free online (if you give me that "well the servers suck because it is free" stuff then don't bother because it is lie). Not only that but the Playstation Plus membership for just £40 a year allows you to get a library of free games, discounts, beta access, game trials, etc, etc. They treat their consumer audience with respect by rewarding you for supporting them. This is indeed so with the free Vita PS Plus Membership that is coming out soon where you get three AAA titles for free as well as on going free games and discounts like the PS3 version and guess what? It is free to those who have a PS Plus Membership on PS3.

Microsoft on the other hand charge its users for online that isn't always that tip top. I play a lot of Halo 4 multiplayer and the servers aren't always great, so where is my money going? I guess it goes to supporting all those ads they splash on the dashboard that could probably pay for everyone to have a free online service too. I have to pay a subscription to play some demos that are on other consoles for free? I don't think so Microsoft.

Nintendo...well I bought a Wii and also bought all their first party games that never really wowed me. The Wiimote is a gimmick and nothing has come close in their portfolio to topping their Wii Sports tech demo that launched with the console. Heck Playstation's Sports Champions Move series is ten times better than Wiimote and puts the motion plus sensor to shame.

I don't even think I am going to be bothering with a WiiU either because from what I played like Batman Armoured Edition, ZombieU and New Mario Bros (Which is just Wii's Mario Bros with a new title) and none of them really justified the consoles existence. The tablet controller is once again just another silly gimmick spewed out by Nintendo. Why would I want to try and aim my crosshair with the tablet when I can just do it with my Xbox or PS3 analog sticks?

I don't see why this topic is still being here. It only ends up in a shitstorm where fanboys will brag about their "superior" system and what not and therefore such topic should be avoided.

Anyway my quick opinion

Would go for sony , why? Childhood , always been with playstation/Sony, I like the controllers and the exclusive games etc. (Spyro (PSX) , Gran Turismo (PSX,PS2,PS3) , Kingdom Hearts (PS2) and Ratchet & Clank (PS2/PS3) basically made my childhood.)

Why not Microsoft : RROD , Paid online subscription (I already pay for my internet , why pay for online play while you have bought the system , the game and pay for internet) , bulky controller (yes , it hurts my hands and makes them sweaty)

Why not Nintendo : Although having nice classics , games on nintendo platforms don't blow me away (exception made for TWEWY) and a Wii will just make me look like an idiot. Not to mention that sadly nintendo walks a little bit behind on the graphical side.

that's like saying car vs. helicopter vs. submarine. They're different things, and If you want to everywhere you need all three.
