    • Strange text file

I saw that my PC's recycle bin had something in it, and considering I always delete (to save space on my crappy HDD), I checked it out. There was a text file, named simply "untitled.txt". Considering it's nature of being the default name for a text file I didn't think anything of deleting it, but after clicking to empty the bin my screen blacked out for a split second and an error window popped up, "FATAL ERROR 0333324". The text file remained in the window. I recover the file from the bin and do a virus scan on it (Seemed only logical at the time I suppose), but it was totally clean. That's when I started getting cold sweats, and things got very strange. I opened the text file, and there was a very short message, written in a strange perspective and very disconnected. It totally creeped me out. I started googling about it but it seemed daunting that I would find any support about a "ghost" text file, with a story enclosed. Curiosity being quite the driving force, I decided to just read the damn thing. Before I mention what happened here's what the text file contained:

a woman. she had pretty pencils, paints. mirrors throughout, always watching. you never couldnt see yourself. but looking? woman painted, oh did she love paining. colors were mixed so well, she had an eye for sure. but finding her, all the mirrors, proved difficult. she painted herself, every day. why a woman would paint when work was to be done, never known. she had roses. the paintings littered hallways, filling spaces where mirrors did not. or could not? finding her is difficult, locked in her drawings room, painting. you dont see, without the mirrors. they help paint. without, she could paint nothing. oh did she love roses. but the thorns had taken her eyes. yes. it was a glorious moment. finally done, sight withheld, she could no longer twist, and confused. she knows not her fate. how could she? sight was diminished, points of crimson. but WHY WHY DOES SHE PAINT EVER STILL a question i cannot ask myself. a question you must answer. you will tell me you will see her. in time, when her paining is finished. you will see WHY

After I finished reading the file, almost on the last word the lightbulb in my room burst, startling the bejeezus out of me. I had never seen a lightbulb shatter from simply being on, and technically they shouldn't unless they get overloaded. Thankfully there was no surge, so my desktop was spared from the strange occurrence. But the laptop where I found the text file (the computer I'm using now to post this) is really dim, like the settings had been changed when they were still at maximum. It's a crappy Win7 Acer, so if anyone knows if there are "hidden" settings for the screen brightness I'd like to know, can't find them anywhere.

As far as the story, I'm not aware of any woman doing self-portraits non-stop. I don't really know what to think of it.

Oh by the way, I tried uploading the text file but the error popped up again. I know this is hard to prove without it but I can't get it off my comp, save for copying the text. This is really creeping me out.

Probably a virus/bad joke/worm. The lightbulb may be a coincidence.

      Because ghosts are scientifically impossible!
Objection, some studies says that actually can really exist ghosts and thinks like that, acting as some force of the nature like the eletricity, also some studies has appointed that "souls" are a type of ernegy with information of the people inside,if this information go out acting as a ernegy is technically possibly that ghosts exist
    • Okay, now things are getting strange. The laptop that had the text file is in a permanent BSOD. I can't turn it off, and the battery is stuck (Then again I've never tried to remove its battery). It's been unplugged all day, and should be out of juice by now, but everytime I flip open the display it's still a blue screen.

The ****ed thing about this BSOD is, despite all the text appearing normal (as far as I can make of it), there's a word near the bottom in a different font than the rest. It says "EYES".

I've been noticing a lot of black widows too, I've killed three of them in my room since this afternoon. But the strangest thing of all, even more than the infinite battery laptop, is that all the rose bushes in my backyard are blooming. In the middle of Fall, and it's even been raining non-stop here in Sacramento, yet the roses are big and perky. I don't know much about them, but apparently they're quite rare. My great grandparents brought them over from Germany and planted them years ago, they're definitely not ones you can find in any store. My great grandparents have long since passed on, so I can't ask them anything about them, obviously. I've been trying to contact my Grandmother, but I don't know how much help she's going to be, considering she has Alzheimer's disease.

I'll admit every time I flip open the display on my laptop I get the heebie-jeebies, I keep getting this ****ed up feeling that someone's watching me. I had a hard time sleeping last night, and my pace is hurried going down hallways, instinctively. There's also this big mirror in my room that's a facet of my drawers. After what I read in the file it's been REALLY difficult for me to look at it, coupled with my slight fears of mirrors anyway (Too much horror as a kid I guess).

I'll keep you guys posted. It makes me feel better to tell someone, most of my family isn't answering their phones, and I'd rather not bring this up with my friends, or FB.

Talk to someone IRL, like a psychiatrist or whoever is good for this stuff.

If not, Move. The hell. OUT.

If only it were that easy, heh.

Money's very tight and I'm here with my aunt for the reduced rent/amenities. My families owned this house since the fifties, but I'm not afraid of my great grandparents or grandpa. Besides, they wouldn't be doing this to me.

The laptop blue screen thing is both creepy and aggravating. I managed to get a hold of my cousin, but she couldn't help, saying not to force the battery and to simply bring it to a tech shop. I'll be bringing it over tomorrow.

I replaced the lightbulb but the new one keeps flickering. I'm gonna have to take an ohm meter to the fixture tomorrow as well. I've killed four more black widows since the last posting. I wouldn't think it's because of the rain, and they're only popping up around my bed.
