I'm getting dreams about this now. I see the painting, but not of the curved neck lady. I believe that particular painting is well-known and famous. But of another woman who is strikingly similar. Jet black and shiny hair, cropped, pale white skin, and a somber disposition. It's probably because of being a dream, but I can't remember what her eyes looked like. I remember that I wanted to know, very badly, but kept getting that weird feeling.
You know that feeling when you see a great butt and look, but instinctively look away, even if she doesn't know you're looking? I remember that feeling in the dream when I was trying to focus on her eyes.
She also, like in the text file and the famous painting, had an inhumanely long neck, I don't actually remember seeing a body under the neck.
Oh, and despite my roommate being away in Lake Tahoe, I noticed a shampoo bottle in the middle of my bathroom floor, on its base, with the label pointed straight at the door, completely perpendicular. That and I had the hardest time sleeping last night, every time I closed my eyes I would get increasingly paranoid that something was staring at me from the hallway, and would constantly open my eyes to look.
I'm convinced that something is stalking me. Nobody breaks into your house to move a shampoo bottle coinciding with a weird text file and this strange sense that I'm being stared at constantly. I've researched about EVP and and other things, I'm going to start setting up video around the apartment at night. It can't be my apartment that's haunted though, since this has been going on since before I moved in. It's hard not to connect the original text file with the new one.
