Should i record videos or am i too young?

    Hey guys, I was wondering if i am not too young to record videos. Let's plays of games. I am 9 years old, and i dont know because i uploaded 1 video, but i can't upload the other amnesia video. Youtube failed. But i dont know if i should record them. If i am too young then i dont know what to do.

  • I think thats too young for me too. I dont really care if i get like 20 views on a video, i just want to do something instead of playing games and doing nothing in them.
    Oh and i remember one of my friends saying that i should continue doing videos. I think i should.

  • I say give it a go. A lot of Youtubers find it hard to gain confidence early on and if you are able to get used to talking and playing games from an early age then it will benefit you a lot in later life seeing as you are nine years old. Commentary will help you build that confidense and ability to present yourself to others and it is great you are showing interest. Just make videos and just be yourself, don't bother aiming for subscribers and views until you are a little older, but you can count on us here to support you and give you advice :)

  • 9 years old is a bit young in my standards to make youtube videos.
    I would just suggest to wait untill you are older, like 14 but better if 15, 16 or older.

    Because there is a lot of people that just doesn't like to hear a child commenting on a Let's play video.

    But it's your choice, if you enjoy making videos then go ahead, but be sure to try to improve on making videos.

    Like on your Amnesia video, The game sound and music is too high and I couldn't hear you always, untill setting up my sound higher and suddenly getting my ear raped by the game sounds.

    Thanks, atleast i get some help from someone. I recorded a minecraft lets play, the video is rendering so i will upload it soon.

  • You said "atleast i get help from someone" like the rest of us are just giving you shit. Nine years old is way too young to be making videos. I havn't heard your voice, but knowing most 9 year olds it won't be very pleasant to listen to.
    Please don't take this offensively, I'm just giving you an answer to your question, Yes you are too young.

    Well, because some people just answer like Yes, you are too young, but only 1 guy here told me to give it a go.

  • If you're 9... I mean, what games would you play? That's one question... many games that are suitable for your age aren't too interesting to the rest (not all but most)... or are you trying to say you'd break the age limits? Don't do that... there's a reason why games are marked for certain age group XD Anyway... if you wanna do it... do it... but prepare for the worst since some people are evil and have nothing better to do than bash others.

    One thing would be to team up with someone older.

    I would just break age limits. I already played amnesia. But i will need to recruit now to record another video. A garry's mod video (if the one i am playing with has steam with garry's mod) So i will record it, i already recorded minecraft.
    EDIT: Minecraft is still uploading, if it will fail i will edit this post one more time.
    ANOTHER EDIT: Failed again.. Looks like i need to upload in my crappy computer maybe.
