Some questions about the forums

  • Some questions about the forums

    I just joined, and I got some not working things/things I want to ask.

    First of all, quoting, I can see there is this fancy button under every post, but nothing happens if I click it, not sure if this is a bug in the forum software or just me, but it is quite the problem.

    Also a little less urgent, but the avatars being on the right side of posts is something that is on 90% of the other boards I frequent(ed) changeable to on the left side, it's more traditonal and I prefer that, just asking if that's possible.

    Other than those things I think I can figure the rest out, sorry if these questions are in the wrong section/answered in some sort of Help/in a post somewhere, couldnt really find it and this seemed the obvious place for it.

  • The button still doesn't do anything for me, I'll try in a diffrent browser, bit weird this :S

    OH, and I'm not saying to make the avatar a permanent change, it's just that a ton of forums have the possibility to change it, but I guess not, ah well, just gotta get used to it.

    One more issue that was a bit weird when I tried to log into the forums trough firefox, might be me again, but when I logged in and went to the redirect screen saying I logged in, I didnt want to wait so clicked that 'redirect not working' button, but after that I arrived at the home page logged out, it also happens if click the logo on that redirect screen. Only if I actually wait for it to auto redirect me it works, that intentional, a bug or just bad luck?

    Try using safe mode in Firefox and If that works It's probably an addon going buggy, I have 10 max addons on Firefox, It's customization makes It far superior to Chrome :3 So It's probably an addon, try installing DirectX and updating drivers Incase It's your PC.

    Ahaha! quoted something. Also Chrome is superior because it looks sexy x3
    And yeah, I tend to go a bit too far with Chrome extensions, I'll deinstall some that might interefere with this. And even on this fairly stable Firefox quotation is buggy, it only lets me quote it after multiple furious button clicks :s

    The forum software just hates me -.-
