Introduction
Hello , I would like to present my channel to you. I'm a nineteen year old male from Holland who has too much spare time and I like to play video games , slack and be busy, which is not really a fine combination if you would ask me. So I thought it would be "fun" or atleast time consuming to start a youtube channel up so I had something to do. My Channel is called Dat Common Channel , since my motto kinda was like : "A common channel done by a common person." Actually meaning that my channel is not better then other channels etc. to make a long story short. I'm doing this for some months while not being able to produce videos on a constant rate due to private matters. But those are my problems and not yours and I don't want to saddle you up with it.
Although I have a shitty PC , I'm able to make commentaries (although they are currently quite sloppy) and record various older and in my opinion more entertaining games. I don't have to play the flashiest games with the best special effects and the shittiest stories. I prefer the good old games where the bugs are crammed all over the place and the game looks like utter shit, while the story being very interesting and pulling you in.
I work with various tools like Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Sony Vegas. I can tell that I'm moderate to highly experienced with Photoshop but the problem is that I can't find proper motivation in big projects , which ultimately causes me to drop the project and delete the files since I don't "need" them any more. I use Playclaw 3 and Bandicam to record. I use Playclaw on most of the games and only use Bandicam if Playclaw doesn't work on the desired game. Which happens quite frequently with older games I like to play.
The most favorited games by me are horror games , which you will see me play frequently (or not , depends how high my motivation is). And I like the onces with a good story and ambience more then "in your face" horror , which scares you with jumpscares and grotesque beings. Although I will also play other games.
Sadly I'm not the best person in the world to commentate , I quite hate my voice and sometimes stutter since I get lost in translation while talking or just cram engrish bullshit. I'm trying to sound more entertaining , but it is quite hard for me to concentrate while playing and talking at the same time. Which results in me talking in an annoying monotonic tone.
As I have posted in another topic , I'm busy with making my channel better and way more interactive for people interested in my stuff. I Already made a slider bar thingy which will show the episode etc. in every vid. But I'm far from done. I need to apply more changes to my videos and make it more interactive. I need to get a 5 second intro since the current one is way too long. I need to change my BG a bit and I will allow other people to upload on my channel.
So how would that be done you would ask? Well , its rather easy. I host a server and give you a FTP account to it so you can upload after you have filled in a form for a small quality check. Since I don't want any infringements on my channel. You upload the video to the FTP and I will edit the sliderbar in it with your name and avatar and post in on my channel with links directing towards your channel/vids in the video and I will include all the Social media links for you. See it as some sort of network where everyone can be a director or something and you don't even need a schedule and such!
