    Hey all and happy halloween. I just recently finished this game as a competition piece. It was supposed to be a 2 minute mini game (oops).

    It's a short point and clickish adventure game, it's kind of in the style of the old clocktower games, except without the unnecessarily slow text of the PS1 release. I started working on this on the 25th of this month, I was out of town for the weekend, so this is basically what I can do in less than a week. Hopefully that's a compliment and not you know stuff and junk. I probably could have done more with it, but I'm a scardy cat and had to keep taking kitten breaks. If pewdie wants to give this a go, that'd be fantastic! But either way, I hope the rest of you enjoy it! Feedback is not only welcome but extremely appreciated! If everyone likes this I might consider developing this further, I have a design set up for a multiplayer version of this, not necessarily following the find items and escape format, so any kind words to nudge me in that direction would be fabulous!

    Of course, you could just play the game just to kill me over and over again, at least you're playing it.

    A and D to move
    Mouse to point flashlight
    F to turn flashlight on and off
    Mouse wheel to switch between looking and opening objects
    Q to toggle interface
    Shift to run

    If you are in danger, run into the next room, get away from the door and turn off your flashlight.

    Try to keep moving, don't stay in one room for too long.

    Be on your guard, odds are, when you think you're safe, you aren't.

    Extra Tip: I added this to the How to Play section, bu some people have let me know that the killer boxes you in occasionally when he pops out. I think it's probably a good idea to let you know that when he isn't actually walking towards you, he won't attack you, so be sure to hightail it out of there before he starts after you.

  • I could try to be man enough, but I fortunately left my wing wang in my extra body. I could probably shoot up some bullshark testosterone and grow a beard, but I'd probably laser it off because I despise shaving so much. :cursing:
    I'm just curious, has anyone actually played this yet? :( Plus, how come no one told me the screenshots were all dicked up? They're fixed now.

    Really? Unless you were up against the wall you should've seen it, though you'll only see the end part (on purpose). Glad you got the feces scared out of you!

    Yeees I certainly did :D In less than a week too. Not something I'd recommend doing as I'm extremely burnt out. I could've added more into the game, cept I had a deadline for the competition.

    Run out of the room, get away from the door and turn off your light. If he pops out and you have no exit behind you, run passed him before he starts moving.

    I updated the game a bit, nothing too spectacular. A few game breaking bugs, and I guess no one has actually made it to the end, otherwise they might've been reeeeeeealy mad at me. :o

    I've written up a quick design on a new version of the games design that includes other game modes like a ghost in the graveyard style of play, one where the killer is actually pretending to be another survivor in the house, a survive for as long as possible mode, a mode where the goal is to actually kill the killer, and of course, the escape style of play like this one (among others). This would also be able to handle split screen, LAN and online play, and I can do a version for both PC and Xbox (I can try and shoot for XBLA, but if all else fails there's always XBLIG) If anyone thinks I should go ahead with it, please let me know.
