Ah, I think I forgot to disable an error that deletes the mouse on accident. You'll run into that issue if you play on multiple screens, or you put it in full screen and alt+tab out of it, among other things. I'll try to release another version soon, so until then try to avoid those things. I've been working hard on the sequel (which shares a few more traits with it's roots, which I think people like you and I will enjoy) so I might not even get to it for a bit (I'd like to make a few more changes, so it's not just that).

If I were you, I'd write up a formal design document on the game (if you don't know how to write a good one there should be plenty of resources on the web), that way I or any other artist/programmer you are interested in working with will be able to easily understand the goal and scope of the project.

Just recorded my first part... I'm having the same problem. He pops up in the 2nd room for me 99% of the time and I can't run past him... like I can't make it in time. But if I go right then I get cornered in bathroom or a bedroom, and he's there AS SOON as I turn on my light again even though I wait for the music and stuff to stop (maybe thats why, because it says not to stay in a room for too long, yet at the same time it says to get out of sight and turn off your light while in danger... WHICH IS IT?!?!).
Ah well. I didn't make any progress in my first part, however I did jump like a little girl the first time he popped out. I was so not expecting that... I thought it was more of a slower paced game like Home XD. I didn't scream or anything, cause thats just not me but fawk me I was so scared. I'll edit this post and link to it when I render/upload it I guess... though it probably won't be as entertaining. I'm going to watch that other guys LP just to see a few tips for figuring out how to get farther than 2-3 rooms before dying. (cause the only way I know how to do that is running with the flashlight off the entire time, which isn't entertaining to do!)
