    • Meeting Gaming Friends in Real Life?

      Hello once again fellow Bros,

I know one guy for over a year and we met today in Hamburg and it was strange as fuck at the beginning but then became very funny :D We were in a big crowd of people and my friend screamed CHAIRMODE ACTIVATED *BOOP* and we both just stood still and stared in the sky^^ Also we bought some Hot-Weels Advent Calendar (with chocolate) and he just went to a random girl, gave it to her, and walked away like nothing happened :D

It's really fun, but you should only meet someone if you know he ain't a rapist, I skyped with him pretty often and had him on Facebook so I knew that he was my age and such.

Have you ever met someone you met online through a game or something in Real Life?
Tell me your stories, bros :)
    • That's pretty cool :P

I've known someone over the internet for near enough two years now, but I'm still a little young to meet them. Plus, they live in America and I live in Northern Ireland, so it's gonna cost a bit to meet.
It's definitely something that I'd think about, but of course there are obvious risks.
    • I've seen some of my gaming friends IRL, and some of them I have to admit... They really don't look like they are actual gamers. One of my friends went to London so I visited her (I live in UK lolz) and my goodnes... She was really hot! I had one of those things called *ahem*AWWWKWARD boner...

    • This is going to take awhile but... c:

Alright, so I've met a few of my online friends in real life to be honest, one of my friends named Hailey and I met up every year in California since we go there every year and we hung out at the amusement park for the whole day and then went to the mall afterwards and got smoothies and shit. C: Quite fun.

And then there is Heiko, and that was the best shit ever. XD We derped around NYC all day, and hell it was funny. We went to the toy store and tried to figure things out there, and then there was a candy store part. So I sorted through ALL of these Jolly Ranchers because I only like the Cherry ones. He was like: You're really doing this, aren't you.
This is why he is my boyfrand though. c: <3 He's a mega sweetheart. ^^

    • I'd love to meet some of my gaming/internet friends :) One guy I've known for at least 3.5 years now lives in Measham which is a couple of hours from me and I could see it being really awkward at first but although he's younger than me he's like an older brother (mainly because he's smarter and taller XD).

So no, I haven't but some guy from the Netherlands who my other friends knew from warcraft came to my city and he was awesome, me all made a campfire in the forest and drank Heineken :')

    • I've met several of my gaming friends IRL, and one of my best friends is actually someone I met on WoW 7 years ago.

My entire guild actually met because one of our guildies was in a bad car accident and was in a comma. He was from the same state as me (Louisiana) so I helped get everyone down here to be there for him and his family. It was actually really great meeting everyone because we were all really close friends because of all the time we spent together online so it really didn't matter what we thought about each others looks, we all greeted one another with hugs and it was really like we had been real life friends forever. Bite, the guildy in the hospital, was actually really happy to see all of us there for him and it really meant a lot to his family too to have so many people from all over the U.S. and Canada take the time to support them.

That is freaking awesome! This overwhelms with me joy and fear because I am sure he was scared shizzless when he saw blood dripping from your mouth as you entered the room. At the same time the fact you were all able to support him is pretty epic. Thumbs up from me :)

    • Hmmm I've met only 2 people irl that I originally met online. The first one was actually quite akward the whole time, for me anyways. In the end we didn't continue being friends, but it's alright Lol. And the second one I hadn't known too long online, and after we met we stayed friends for a while it didn't last too long either. I do have one other friend that I've actually talked to for 12 years now but still haven't met due to neither of us saving up the money, but hopefully someday Lol. ^-^
    • I'll be frankly honest. If I know them well enough yes I'll meet them in real life. I've actually met a lot of my friends in real life who live near me/around me. Only one time I actually went out of the country to meet one of my friends (she was special).

      But...

I thought this was really funny, it turns out of my best friends who plays samp with me is actually someone who goes to my school. Who'd figure aye? Never know who's really behind that screen. :P

Why was it awkward? Did he think tomatos were a vegeable while you thought they were a fruit? That is probably a big mood breaker for me. :cursing: I remember meeting up with someone and basically trying to escape after 10 minutes because they weirded me out incredibly like when their humour is just down right offensive and you don't want people to think you are acquainted with them 8|

Yeah something like that! Haha. No, when we talked online we thought we had feelings that were more than friendship for eachother, but when we met irl they kinda just vanished for both parties. Thus making it very akward, for me at least. ._.
