Heya guys.

I feel that having graphics discussions discussed in the 'other' subcatergory is just not good enough.
Most forums these days has a 'Graphics Discussion' catergory of its own, and considering alot of people view this website it's a very good idea.

I purpose that a new catergory under this name be created, where two different types of threads can be created.

One;
Thread starting with the title *Shop* are used for commercial use, and people can create a thread charging customers to create custom graphics for those people.

Two;
Threads for regular graphics discussion which can also include graphics request threads where users take no payment to create graphics, rather they just enjoy making them for free.


This would be a wonderful addition to the website and i highly recommend that this request be passed.

Also , I don't feel for a "Paid" subcategory , this is not a business website , if you want to make money off GFX then register on GFX forum or what ever.

I said nothing about a 'Paid' sub catergory, only usually in each catergory there is a stickied thread , on what not and what to post. I believe their that there should be two easily recognisable thread types, therefore not leading some people astray.

Also other GFX forums can be huge competition, most people here who would post a graphics shop thread are just casuals looking to help out but might have enough skills to justify payment.

Implying we are a GFX forum , this is a fanbase forum. And my point still stands.

No you don't see. I see this forum in no way a GFX forum website, i see this as a fan forum website indeed. But it's the fact that FANS can come together and perform an ACTIVITY together, in this case, graphics, and i find myself talking as a FAN in the graphics sub catergory of fanbase forum websites all the time, it brings us closer and is only expanding the forumbase not limiting or hurting it.

It's just like talking about random things like 'How do i get a girlfriend' to 'Check out my channel' only it's something that alot of people are interested in, as it is in alot of ways related ot Youtube which most of us have come from, as channels are looking for graphics CONSTANTLY.

Personally i don't like sorting through all the 'other' sub catergory to find graphics threads to talk casually over and help out other aspiring designers. It's so much simpler with its on catergory or subc catergory for everyone, having isn't going to hurt anyone or anything, so why be against it?

Oh really? Although it's possible to do that, you'd think a 'feedback' forum catergory would be frequently checked for opinions that may better the website, rather than Pming the head guy XD

Oh i can completely see where you are coming from here. Although some artists can have a high amount of skill, in which others seek out their designs regardless of pricing. Which is what im getting at, i don't really see any people commercially running a successful GFX shop here, but people who casually do it for fun, and might be able to snag a few dollars here and there, i don't see the harm if people are willing to pay for it because it's good stuff?

I myself have made abit due to me creating Swiftys (YT/johnsju) 'well known WoW player' Background recently, and alot of people want my designs, background, avatars, website wise, is all. I generally jus tlike helping out others, giving them tips and cheering them on the make more!

A graphics discussion forum would be possible, uploading those is handled by the gallery however.
About the marketplace kinda thing, I don't really see why we would need that to be honest.

True... but people will do it anyway, so why not organise it easier from the start? XD
