Intro in front of LP's? I made one, but not sure whether to use it.

      Hey bro's!

      I have a question. I'm planning to make LP's in the very near future, so I already started to make an intro. However, when I looked around at one of the major LP channels, I found that
      a lot of them don't use intros.

      What do you guys think about an intro before the video?
      Does it bother you? Do you like it ( if the music is good for example)
      Or do you just not care :p.

    • An intro is a good idea. However, shouldn't be longer than 15 seconds. yours is cool.

      What it could be used for:

      Having a best bit from the upcoming let's play (like 10-15 seconds long)
      then go to intro (5-15 seconds long)
      and then back to the full let's play.
      and outro with a call to like comment and subscribe (5-10 seconds)

      I'm starting to do it with my new videos. But I believe it makes a world of difference

      Wow, your idea actually solves a big problem I was facing with this intro. One of the things i've learned from succesful Youtubers, is that your
      first 5 seconds of the videos should be interesting/appealing. With this intro I was affraid to scare people off. But doing a best bit upfront is a perfect idea.

    • Intro, as makimnofur said, shouldn't be more than 15 seconds long.

      It'll get boring if you have long ass intros.

      A rather simple intro would do. :)

      It doesn't have to be ready made. As in, a intro made from After Effects or such.

      Take normal games of PewDiePie for example.

      And then, look at the Fridays with PewDiePie.

    • Yeah I agree, well atm this intro is about 15 secs long ( since the last part is just black )
      Hopefully one day I'll have an audience with a talented guy who can make me a nice intro :).

      I really love Pewdies 'Fridays with PewDiePie' since it is totally in his style. Before I can make an intro in my style I first need to develop a style ^^.
