New game Coming Sooon! - Silent Manor

Hello i am working on a game, it is a horror based FPS. It is called "The Silent Manor" Or "Silent Manor" - can't desicde :O

The game is currently in development stage and i'll upload new screenshots as the game progresses.

If you have any suggestions that you want to see inside the game, write it below!

There is one rule to horror games. If you have jump scares, it probably needs more jump scares. 'nuff said.

Thanks for the suggestion, i got many ideas on how to develop it! There will be many jump scares as well as a story line!

Timing buddy, timing is fucking important. Make the player feel safe. A warm jazz coming from the gramophone, The lighting is well lit. And then.. you goes like "BOOM! WHAT THE FUCK, THE LAMPS FUCKING EXPLODE!" and then "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! THE SONG GOES REVERSED!"
And finally " DUDE! IS THAT A FUCKING DEMON UNDER THE DOORWAY WAT THE FUCK!" and you pretty much scared the player shitless.

Thanks for all these awsome suggestions, One of the parts in the manor will be a hallway, as soon as the player steps in, the door closes both ways. The lights explode, The Creepy sounds come on. Everything stops for 5 seconds(including the sound) and then BAMM.

There are many more unexpected scares through-out the game!

I am trying release the game on halloween and complete it before and have a BETA test!

It will be here soon

yes this is my first offical project

I current own Private server for a MMORG games but that doesn't count as a offical project

Well the project is already started, i work on the game for a bit everyday so it's atleast 1/4 finished.

I also got college holidays next week for 1 week so i'll be home all day so i could work on it at the same time.

If anyone is good at photoshop and wants to do hired work, please contact me with a PM or skype: gocry6

The work will include background images for the game and some other images for the game.

How to suggest if we even don't know the slightest thing about your game , where it plays out , how long it will be and what kind of game it will be.

Best would be if you post the plot here on the forums

@Cirno it's like a typical horror game. Based on a manor (mansion). The place is huanted. You have a tourch in your hand, ghosts, traps, and other horror based enititys. Screens will be added tonight with the full plot.

having kids that can be killed in a game is a bad idea, it get's a age rating and people may protest outside your house

That's why in other games, you cannot kill a child as they are invincible

In fallout 3, child is apperently mutated pretty damn bad that not even a mini-nuke could kill them.. they're basically the strongest enemy in fallout 3
