Paranormal experiences.

    • I've never personally had any paranormal experiences... but I do believe in ghosts and spirits, and I know friends and family members who have experienced them.

When my mom was a kid, her and her four sisters all had to share one room in a one bedroom apartment while my grandmother slept in the living room. My mm said at night, the door would be open to their room and when you look out of it, you could seen the dining room table. Each night, there at the table, she (as well as her sisters) could see a family sitting at the table with a little dog. They didn't do anything - didn't harm anyone that lived in the house. One night, though, her eldest sister was sleeping on the top of the bunk bed and she suddenly couldn't breathe - because there was someone choking her. It wasn't one of the ghosts at the table, but a different one.

Another time, there were about six or seven of us sleeping in one small room one night after attending a high school dance - and two of the girls in there could see the ghosts. They said he was a little boy, and he was in the corner. My best friend was making jokes throughout the night, and every time she did, they said he would laugh. He said he thought she was funny. I was there for that one, but from I understand some people have the ability to see, or sense them, versus others don't.

My sister-in-law is the same way. From my understanding, if I'm not wrong the way she was explaining it is that she can sense their movements, sense their looks - but at the same time she can't really see them? I' don't know, in all honesty. My aunt had passed away from brain cancer last year a few days before my dad's one year anniversary, and the night she passed, we were all around the living room and in the kitchen, waiting for her passing. It took two days for her to finally pass, and on the day she did, we kept questioning what was taking so long for her to go - like why someone hasn't come to take her. Well, at the time, my sister-in-law said that there was an older woman at the bedside, at the headboard of the bed. She says she's not sure who she was, but she described the woman to us. It was my grandmother, my aunt's mother. My sister-in-law never met her, as my grandmother passed away before my brother met his wife. My mom, who was crying at the table with her other two sisters, kept wondering why my dad hasn't taken her yet.

My sister-in-law said my dad was there, right behind my mom, with his hands on her shoulders. He was communicating through her - to my sister-in-law, saying it was almost time and he wanted to make sure we were okay. My aunt passed away not too long after.

On my dad's one year anniversary, the whole family was around the table talking about him, remembering him. When it came to talking about the day of his death - something that was extremely hard for the family as a whole to talk about - my sister-in-law asked if she could see my tattoo that I gotten for my dad. I showed it to her. Later, she told me my dad wanted to see it and when he did, he touched my shoulder in thanks and love. He was there, to make sure all of us were okay - and that he was proud of us.

It's okay if people don't believe in this sort of thing. It happens. As I've said - I've never had doubts it has existed and in all honesty, knowing that my family who have passed on is there to still comfort us in our time of need is comforting, because it goes to show love that's strong will never break - even in another life. And it's okay to believe that their always going to be with you.

    • Only had one paranormal experience and it was a door slamming shut with not one onside but me. I don't necessarily believe in ghosts but I don't NOT believe. So I guess you could say I am skeptical. But with all the stories and stuff they're probably real but I haven't had a real paranormal experience nor do I want to have one. It kind of scares me to be honest.
    • I remember some time ago, when my grandfather died, my family said taht sometimes the doors could open, things could fall off and stuff, and once even the door opened to let the cat go outside, the thing is, everyone was in the bed

    • Well now that I think about it I had a scary experience once. I was in a cemetery with my two friends Chad and his girlfriend. We'll call her Megan.
So anyways we were all like 15 or 16 and we were out one Saturday night with each other at some arcade or or something. We were stupid and young so we drove to the
local cemetery. We all road in Chad's car. So when he pulled up together and got out we jumped over the brick wall. I really hated being in the cemetery at night, but once
more we were doing it because we were young and dumb. Megan went looking around at the graves. While Chad just kind of stood there and talked to me. Then he said "I have to take a whizz." He didn't say whizz but let's keep it clean. So he peed on a nearby brick wall. That moment the air seemed a lot colder to me and the wind picked up a
bit. I felt a tapping on my shoulder. I shrugged it off because it was probably just me being nervous. Or at least that what I thought until I felt a heavy breathing down my neck. I turned around quickly and no one was there so being the chicken that I am I quickly rushed out of the cemetery screaming. The End.

There that was my completely unexciting and boring story that no one probably read. So yeah that's the only "paranormal event" that's ever happened to me. That was scary by itself. I don't even think I am man enough to read anyone else's stories. I don't want anymore "paranormal experiences" or anything like that
    • Wow so much interesting reading here . In fact i belive in paranormal because i has one experince too .

I was 8 years old when hat happened . Me and my sister were sleeping in same room that time and we had door to the hall opened because we were afraid of dark and light was always on there . So i waked up for some reason in middle of the night feeling very uneasy . My sister was sleeping and our dog (doberman) was sleeping too in that hall . Then after a while of staring at the opposite wall of that hall i seen shadow in shape of something humanoid (but not exactly because it has pretty strange , bloated like head) just crawl from left side to right side . It was like something or someone invisible was between lamp and wall . Then it just dissapeared . I could not sleep that night and i dont think i even moved till morning and had pretty big problems to sleep few nights after that . I remember all this very clerly even after all this years and i am pretty sure it was not nightmare ! So yes , i take these thing pretty seriously .
    • I experienced it, twice.

My grandmother's house is haunted. Supposedly, There was an incident long about a little boy being brutally murdered in the in a small room. That small room is where I slept one night all alone, with no one in the house. My grandmother had to go to a church meeting. So I was just laying down watching tv, and the door keeps cracking open. I find it weird and I almost peed cause I'm a little bitch when it comes to things like that. A couple hrs later when I try to fall asleep, I tugged my sheets all onto my bod, and Something (THING) Yanked it from under the bed two times. I ran out the house and waited outside till my grandmother came.

Another time is when I was in the basement playing pool. We had a pool table in the basement in my grandmother's house. When My mom was preggers with me, my mom and dad had a room down there where they slept and shet, and while she was gone, my dad was playing with an ouji board with his friends ( NOTE: Do not fuck around with that shit! ) Seems like he called in the little boy to spend time in the basement for a little longer (8 years later) lulz. So I was playing and the ghost boy pushed me, tugged my pants, and dropped all of the Pool sticks on the ground which they were hanging on the wall. I ran out the house once again like a baby.

Did I play pool right? Was I playing it wrong? ;( I will never know.... :S
    • well my story is over a couple months but i am shorting it up
one night my mom was down stairs and my step sisters and i were watching paranormal activity 1 (perfect way to start right) and we had to do it over time because we didn't want to watch it the dark (I was 10 at the time sisters shall we call them Brit and Kit were 12 and twins) so we were almost done with the movie and it was pretty dark now and we were going ahead and finish the movie by now the jump scares were happening and we all started freaking out and i was on the top bunk watching and i almost fell of about 3 times lol :D . when it was over we played guitar hero and then the door was closed and it opened so that's when we ran out the door. about 2 weeks later my mom was watching TV and she heard a can fall into the garbage but we recycle cans and we have a little floppy garbage can and it was going back and forth back and forth and it scared the crap out of her. about a week later it was my b-day (7-11) and i asked for a ghost hunting kit and i have always been fascination by ghost i would watch the hunted when i was 6 still do, but anyways i got an electromagnetic moneter thingy and it was 1:00 am one night i wanted a drink and i took the moneter with me so i went downstairs and got one and while i was walking upstairs i got the feeling that something was watching me and my thingy started beeping and i ran and jumped in the bed and started freaking out. so i have always done this thing when i would wake up at 3:00 am every Sunday night kind like Marzia's story. My mom would say my past away famliy and pets were making sure i had a good week but one time i woke up and i heard a bang and i ran down stairs to see what it was my picture on the shelf had fallen over and i freaked then i started sleeping on the coach as i didn't feel safe in my room and i felt something touch my back i looked up and saw a shadow for a split second then i just went nuts i didn't go to sleep that night and i still wake up at 3:00 but we moved and nothing happens now except my TV turns on and my laptop

    • I'm not a religious man. In any way. At all.
      God is non-existant for me.
Why I bring up religion? Most people I've discussed this topic about seems to think spirits are linked to god and satan and whatnot else...
      Anyways, to my experience :D
I slept over at my friends place, on the couch, and couldnt sleep at all cause there was this continuous, non-stop, hellishly annoying banging on walls, footsteps and fucking everything else a ghost can do. How I know it was a ghost? Cause I saw the rug on the floor infront of me fucking move as the footsteps sounded.. Never been so close to shitting myself xD
But yeah, that's probably the worst I've experienced in the paranormal.. stuff.

This whole paranormal thing reminded me of a story I heard in third or fourth grade... (Yeah I can remember this kind of stuff, but homework? Hah!)
There was this fat girl who looked like she dove into a pool of makeup every morning, so she had lots of friends (basically a fat, bitchy queen amongst geeks), and one day I overheard her telling her friends about hearing footsteps in the middle of the night, then going out to investigate for no apparent reason, then finding a skeleton under her moms car.
Now that I think of it, her mom did drugs.. Maybe the kid took some aswell, or her mom was a lousy killer. Who knows?
By the way thats how she ended the story, she found the skeleton then went back to sleep.
    • Not quite paranormal, but here goes anyways:

When we first moved to the UK, we didn't own a car, so my mum used to walk a really odd route to get to work.
On one of the roads lived an old lady called "Little Nell". She was very friendly and chatted to many passing strangers as she did her gardening. My mum was one of them.
She and my mum became good friends, so much so that Nell knew when my mum was working and worried about her when she didn't walk past her house.

After a good while of knowing her, Nell gave my mum a painting. It was something her husband had given her before he died in the war. She had it in her bedroom and yet she decided it was something to give us despite it being precious to her and her family. To this day, we don't know why.

About a year passes, the painting has been hanging on our living room wall; when suddenly it comes crashing down.
The wire that was hanging the painting up had a clean cut- as if it was deliberately cut with pliers or something.
We didn't think anything of it at the time- we re-tied it and hung it back up.

An hour later, it crashes down again. This time the knot we had tied was undone- but there was no trace of a knot being there- the wire was poker straight.

Mum called Nell's daughter the next morning- for she got worried- it turns out that the first time the painting fell, Nell had collapsed in her house.
The second time it fell, Nell was being rushed into surgery.

Not exactly ghostly- but you can see why it creeped us out.
      I don't do much, but I occasionally tumbl .
    • It's fun and creepy to read all your experiences here...
I would go crazy if I had such experiences, though my imagination can go wild and create ghosts everywhere lol.

    • If we put aside all the ghosts experiences me and my mother had (especially her), I can say that she is a very powerful medium.

"Yeah right that's full of shit."
      I thought so too.

Using an awkward pendulum she has been predicting a lot of stuff, and everything always happened. This is both scary and impressive to be honest. I'm still not quite sure I believe but the undeniable fact that she's been always right makes me doubt.
    • One day, last year, I was going out and I saw a light point on the sky, that was moving so fast, and in a very strange way, I thought it was a helicopter, but after a while, a strong light beam came out from the point (not vertically, but like a torch, or whatever), and then it left away, not so fast...
Later, three other points like that came into the sky, they was moving at the same speed and in the same direction, and pretty fast, I don't know what was that, but I never seen something like that so far, I hope it was just an helicopter... :|

    • I was about 9, and I was fast asleep one night. It was a normal night, and the most paranormal thing that ever happened was when I catapulted a fish finger into the corner of the room and it was never found (yep, me and horror don't mix to well.) The night was pretty normal, and nothing out of the ordinary happened.

In the morning however, I awoke to find my bed covers, pillows, and my duvet folded up on my desk, in a perfect pile. This really creeped me out, as I surely would have felt someone move the things that I was lying on in the night. My room was locked at the time, as was my windows.

That really is the only paranormal thing that's happened to me, apart from the fact that I always feel like someone watched me when I am alone...

Oh, and I seem to be able to predict the future in dreams.
