  • Borders and stuff for your gaming videos, where to get it?

    As the title says, Im wondering where I can find some images or whatever to make a border for my PIP (me on webcam) on my gaming videos, and also want to find something I can use on the end of my videos to show of other videos....If that made any sense :wacko:

  • I made one just yesterday as a matter of fact, it's really easy to do something just select a big area in the middle so you got a little on the sides where you'll want the borders and then inverse and put on some blending options on that layer, then invert again in a new layer and just paste a somewhat nice background.

    That's what I did and that took about 10minutes, good luck. :)

  • If you type 'border' in Google Images you have a loooot of stuff to work on. Just need to add an adjective to determine what kind of border you want to find ;p

    Nice :D ! I record at 4:3 ratio with webcam. Some kind of horror or action border would be nice. Don't need to be fansy with much colors, just want to box in the PIP. But a plain square isnt good either :P

  • Hi, i dont know if this will help, but here is a really really simple one i made in gimp with a plugin i designed.


    If you want to use it, you can, but i would like a heads up that your using it, so if you do use it, send me a PM that you are....

    Also, if you would like me to make a custom one, just PM me and tell me what you want it to have, and i'll see what i can do :D

    EDIT: I forgot to say, If you do use my border, DONT put it behind the facecam, put it in front of your facecam, because this middle is transparent, and the shape of it fits pretty good around and at the edge of the facecam ;)
    P.S I notice that some games dont have sqaure camera's, so here's a rectangle border :D

  • I just made this in Photoshop to put behind my facecam :p The inside doesn't matter since my ugly face will be over it, and I don't want to go overboard with effects of lightning and ponies.
