Okay. I think achievements turn the website into a competition and they just provoke people to spam the forums, blogs and gallery sections with their crappy hahas and lols. -

That's something to discuss, finally.
First of, for now the blog and gallery are excluded. Second of, the competition behind it should encourage users to be more active - so far I have seen nobody spam the site to get any achievement. And if they do, it's especially easy for us to just reset all achievements of that user and exclude him from the systems, or simply delete all his posts and warn him for the things he did. -
Achievements : not sure if good or not.

This feels more like a game than a website.
People are just gonna bash around stuff JUST for the achievements.
Tons of attachments, misleading ratings, spam posts.

Ugh , stop dicking around. You have already let people know about your discomfort about this. I don't personally like it aswell , but if it contributes to the overall (inter)activity of the board then I just have to deal with it. Seriously people , I don't say that you may not reflect your opinion , but mainly being "dis sux decks" all the time isn't going to help out at all. So either stop complaining and help improve this feature or suck it up and don't open your mouth about this ever again.

The achievements only trigger on actions. We reset them today as mainentance, but within a week or so it should normalize for you. -
I really don't think of it as a competition. I think it's a fun idea, though, to try to collect awards. It's basically an award system thanking you for being active, which is nice. Everyone like's to be awarded =D

Well, for some reason mine reset today and I got a lot of notifications... but I guess if you'd see a notification now and then... I don't think that's so bad. -
