The people who keeps saying that they are copying you are just there for the sake of being there. They just want to gain attention and do nothing else and therefore wasting precious megabytes on Youtube. I dare say they type "scp-087-b" and paste the same bloody thing over and over again. They are just going to get hated. So I say just keep doing what you are doing. Ignore those assholes

But seriously, that's BS and you shouldn't let it bother you. There will always be people with a ridiculous, knee-jerk reaction to aspects that you may SHARE with pewdie (such as the game, your fear, facecam, or whatever else they choose to latch on to) that they will focus on and, in many cases, not bother watching your video and jump to their immediate conclusion.

I've had one or two people accuse me of ripping Pewdie...which tells me without a single doubt they haven't taken the time to watch a single of my videos, because our styles are ridiculously different. I've even had one come back to me later with an apology, having told him to actually sit and watch before putting his foot in his mouth. So yeah, don't even let it bother you a bit.

The game has the same story/gameplay for everyone, it's just what your saying which differs and you can't copyright words.
There is not a maximum number of videos that can be made of a game.

I don't make videos, but I plan to in the future. And I am pretty sure that this will get as annoying as HELL. I agree with you, Deathskarl. This is bullshit.

Sort of, yes. It's your commentary that should showcase your particular style. Pewdie is your "animated" LP'er, as I like to think of him. The random, silly, spontaneous kind of commentator, particularly appealing to a younger age group but still good if you can be a kid at heart I like him. That said, he has certain sayings and expressions that I HAVE seen copied (his "barrels" stuff, the particular style of his scare compilation videos, etc.) and there are sometimes people that scream or gesture in the same ways he does. The only way to really copy him IS stylistically (unless you straight up make yourself look/dress like him on FC, something else I've also seen) and when someone is blatantly doing it, it usually doesn't take very long to recognize. However, evoking fear emotions or choosing to play similar games or using facecam certainly doesn't make a person a copycat.

do what you want, ppl will hate coz they have nothing better to do and are deep down miserable people but if they were to have much going for them they might be abit more positive

If you were actually copying Pewdie you'd be repeating his jokes, imitating his expressions etc. etc.

Sooo yeah, this is a tough question. I just can't come up with a reason why you'd be copying him.
