Yes, no entertainer's career has been ruined because the crossed the limits of what could be expected from casual humor.

  • The rape "jokes" are indeed sick and deplorable. I have never been raped during my life (thankfully), however I've known people who have been subjected to sexual assault and molestation, and I can tell you first hand that if you knew anyone personally who had been raped or molested you would never joke about a subject like that ever again.

    For shame. For shame...

I have not been raped but pretty close tho. I joke about those kind of things.
I have not failed. I have just found 10 000 ways that do not work.

In no way am I making light of your years of pain, I am just saying that the world will not change for you no matter how much you want to. If you need to talk to somebody about your past, hire a therapist. Forums are not a good place for it, especially when you are insulting people while doing it.

I /sort of/ know what you've been through and will go through throughout your life, therefore I am allowed to determine what is funny, what you should find funny, and what kind of jokes other people can make about the subject matter I am kind of familiar with, and whether or not they will be hurtful to you.

So just because you actually went through the experience you get to determine what other people should determine "what is funny, what you should find funny, and what kind of jokes other people can make about the subject matter"
Notice how I used your own words? Yeah, that's you being hypocritical again.

You and hundred of thousands of others laugh along with a man when he jokingly talks about how he likes to rape, without any kind of respect for the subject, and even as a decent human being, I should not be outraged, or try to change it?

No, you have no idea what I've been through. The thing is, I don't care.
If people wanna laugh about it, then so be it. I laugh at it so why can't they? <:

No, but I can sure as hell determine what is respectful to someone who has suffered through it, in broad terms, as well as use it as grounds to be outraged.

There are people who make jokes about being nazi's, or about killing people, or about retarded people, or about fat people, or about black people, or about short people, or about tall people, or about disfigured people, or about dumb people, etc, etc etc etc etc.
See where I'm going with this?

There are limits on humor, moron, humor is one of the most situational and personal forms of entertainment. And guess what? Laughing at a holocaust joke heartily without feeling bad? Sorry, that's shitbag behaviour!

No need to say sorry my friend, im taking this whole thread as a joke because without being able to laugh at one self you wont be able to grow up.
So ok lets say we were in your supposed "Perfect" world where joking about horrible things are forbidden and everyone who did so should be put in a madhouse.
Have you ever heard a Blond joke? or a "Tard" joke before? basically all jokes are based on the expenses of other peoples suffering please get over it, but no you're right we should stop joking altogether because somewhere there is a rape victim crying themselves to sleep every night because a youtuber made a quick rape joke that was not directed at them or meant to be offensive against said victim, as i said im a victim to rape aswell and sure i had to undergo therapy for about a year to be able to stare in the face of the guy who did it.
I am able to laugh at Rape jokes, dead baby jokes, holocaust jokes, 9/11 jokes hell even suicide jokes can be funny at times for me atleast.
Don't call us all heartless shitbags for owning a sense of humor and simply dont watch PewDiePie if you can't take a harmless joke.

And it's a fucking crime when nobody stands up for others. Maybe queers have better empathy than most human beings, because the community I'm a part of, and all the other queer communities I've been a part of, have steadfastedly avoided making jokes that put others down, and on the rare occasion someone does make a senseless joke, they apologise, or someone stands up for the people being joked about. I would hope communites outside mine practice the same empathy for others worthy of respect.
  • Well.
I've had my fair share of things that are unmistakeably horrible happen to myself, there have been incidents in my life, where a guy or even an older man tried to do things to me that I didn't want them to do to me.
I had a close call, once, where if another friend of mine hadn't seen what was going to happen, I would have been raped. I ran for my life that day, away from him, and away from everything else that had to do with that life.
Still, I rarely trust any guys that are alone with me, and the only exception I've been able to make since then, was my boyfriend currently, Heiko[also known as Mkerix].

Originally, I didn't think that the rape jokes were quite funny, although, after time, I began to understand that it's something someone says when they're freaked out or even just being a major dumbass[and in Pewdie's case it was both]. Sometimes, you have to forgive these things that people do that make others laugh, because they don't think about it, and even if they don't think about it, they haven't experienced something like you and I have, and even a few other members.

I'm sorry if it isn't funny for you, but sometimes, jokes aren't funny to everyone. I hate certain comedians for their lingo, but others I laugh at the things that they say. It's a part of life, but, as it normally does; the world will move on.

Have you ever seen someone trip? What did you do when you saw that person trip? Laugh? Yeah, that's the most common human reaction to any kind of non-serious suffering.
And by the way you said "queer", I'm guessing you're either incredibly dense or just trolling us all.

    I'll give you a chance to prove yourself though;
If you can make one funny joke, ONE funny joke right now, right here, that involves NO feelings from anybody or anything being hurt, I will stop talking.
  • Being able to joke about horrible things, well in a way can help people get over them. People make fun of themselves all the time, horrible occurrences are no different. Every horrible thing someone could think of and has joked about has probably happened at one time or another. Joking about rape, death, and murder are ways to deal with the dark prospects of the true ordeal. If we only focused on the dark side of things and didn't joke around, everyone would be depressed. So I in fact applaud Felix for making others laugh, even with jokes of awful things. There are times for light-heartedness, and true there are times to be serious. But honestly if you want to be serious...why are you watching a comedy/horror video on youtube?!

Call a gay guy you aren't close to a faggot to his face.
  • Sounds to me like you are just venting your rage at a youtuber because you are offended by what he said.

Then here is more for you to rage at:

I make racist jokes on a daily basis.
I livestream and make rape jokes when playing a horror game.
I make jokes about Obama being in love with Osama.

Does anyone care except for you? Not even one tiny bit.
