I take my sword out and clutch it tightly, and run up the stairs.

Kemerd glances out at the Mew. Pokemon? He shrugs and then turns to the others. "Well, first things first, we must find something to light out way, because currently, besides that thing" Kemerd pointed at the Mew "We have no light. I say we try to find some glowsticks or maybe one of those hand-cranked room lanterns. Try to look for a maintenance or janitor's closet." And with that, Kemerd took out a flashlight and went searching for a maintenance closet. Kemerd yelled behind him "Oh, and then we'll set up a base of operations somewhere." and then he turned around a corner.

"...Why not just use the flashlight you took out?"

"I open one of the creaky doors to open up to a machine"

Ok I think I found the switch right here but I think it's stuck I seemed to cant get it

OOC: Hospitals use a power box. And plus, Flashlights light a good distance. They work better than you see in those bullshit indie horror games I keep seeing.

OOC: Well I never said a generator is bad. Because, a power box wouldn't work if the power plants were down due to zombies. Maintenance closet time x OIL!

Kemerd walked down the hallway in complete silence. He still didn't know whether a zed would pop around the corner and eat his head off, or if he was alone (besides the others). His colt in one hand, and Kemerd's light source in the other, he continiued down the hallway.

After walking only a couple seconds, he came upon a maintenance closet. He opened the door... and corpse fell on him. He screamed, and promptly shot it in the head. Then he realized it was dried up, and was a former diseased, which had starved. It was a janitor. Kemerd tried not to puke as he took a master key from it's waist. This could come in handy. In the maintenance closet , he found a treasure trove of things.

Several batteries, which he stuffed into his backpack, oil, which he took for rusty things, and a crankable lantern/room lighter/radio. It also had phone charging ports which were hand cranked. He also grabbed a first aid kit, and a hammer.

He went up to the others. "Lookie lookie what I found." He showed them everything, then cranked the lantern, and it proceeded to light the whole hallway qiute nicely. "Also some oil, batteries, and hammer." Kemerd grinned.

OOC: Sorry, this was a rushed post.

Well that should come in handy let me see that

Kemerd stopped the Spheal and held out Oil. "I have oil. No need for violence against switches." With that, he dumped oil on the switch, and it easily turned on. The lights flickered, then turned on. The zombies groaned downstairs.
