Kneesocks, there really is a problem with it... it was doing the same thing to me last week! It wore off after 48 hours, no idea why or what caused it though

Make sure you have the BBCode option enabled.

Click the Settings tab just under where you type your message, in there you can check/uncheck a box saying "Enable BBCode in this post."
