Yeah, I recommend Bandicam, smaller files, easier to use, and I think it's even cheaper. :O

Bandicam. I had some problems too with my Fraps and that made me raging and now I use Bandicam and everything is alright.

No problem with fraps till now. You should try reinstall it.

I have heard that Bandicam has lower quality video but that it is generally something that isn't very noticable. If the files are smaller then I think that is great really as recording 45 minutes of Left 4 Dead generally equates to me losing 100gigs of HD space with Fraps.

Yea, Fraps raw files are too big, But if you have an external hard disk, it should be no problem since you gonna render and compress it. After that, you are gonna delete te raw file.
