Yeah I'm going to tone it down when it gets into it but this part of the map is going to be before you find the flashlight.

Source dynamic lighting (env_projectedtexture) is supported only one per map, and since the flashlight (also env_projectedtexture) is used by the player its recommended to only use it in the darkest places where the players light is either gone or broken. However, Gmod does support multiple env_projectedtextures, the Lamp tool is an example of this. Maybe you can try and copy or remake the code that creates support for that.

Well , it would be quite impossible for me to code outside of gmod due to the fact the source engine itself doesn't support .lua. and I only can code that.

Yeah you're right about the dynamic lighting. You'd be able to see the shadows from the lights on the beam of the torch as well no matter where you look. Its really bugged.

UPDATE #2:

Done some more mapping, I've nearly finished the warehouse. I built a staircase up to a second floor which overlooks the warehouse.

I still need to decorate and furnish the office but its base is there. That's where the door key will be.

This is taking me a long time to map because I'm so picky. I spend a lot of time decorating each room and I play test it multiple times

to make sure I like it enough. I also made a youtube channel for the mod! Here I can upload the progress and trailers etc.

I advise you subscribe if you want to keep up to date with the mods progress. I'll be uploading these progress videos on there

from now on. I'm also going to make a moddb page tomorrow. I need to get some people to help out, especially coding, mapping and modelling.

I think I'm going to try and make a team with a name etc, if your interested let me know!

From someone who doesn't know anything about... anything... or well, about making games with programs. So I dunno... it looks cool. Did you plan to make so you use weapons in this? ...I'm too lazy to go thru' all the posts. lol.

Awesome stuff bro

Can you do ambience sort of stuff too?
I think having music in the game play would break the tension.
Some ambience would add to the creepiness

But would also be great if you could make a creepy but subtle sort of soundtrack for the trailer man!

Yeah, there's currently just a crowbar but I plan on changing that to a wrench and there's also going to be a pistol. So kind of similar to grey and CoF.
More weapons just makes it a shooter really.

Don't judge me immediately, but I'm 14. BUT, I don't sound like an 8 year old. So, if you need a younger role between 16 and 18, I might be able to fit the part. So, yeah, if you wanna sample, I can give you one. :)

UPDATE #3:

Carried on with the mapping. I've finished the floor plan drawing of the first map so I just need to build it now.

We're also now on ModDB! Please follow/watch the mod if you have an account to help us find a programmer and a modeller for the

project! Check the link below! I've also decided I'm going to retexture the entire map so far. It's too clean

and clinical for my liking. I think it needs to be darker and grittier to bring more horror to the mod. I'm kind of thinking

about changing the setting to match, I'm not sure.
