I still view this one as a slender clone, just with a few upgrades. For instance the GPS. It's kind of like avoiding copyright by changing something 30% or whatever? Isn't 1920 x 1080 just a waste? The only way people will see that much detail are if they're on a 5000 inch screen or hit stop download while your video is maximized. 1280 x 720 is what's suggested and keeps the 16:9 ratio. This also allows for a decent amount of detail without having an over 2 mb file. Also black bars going horizontally on the embeds don't look that bad. On top of that most of your thumbnail viewers will be from your YouTube meaning you'd want no black bars on those thumbnails,…

Pretty sure you do it just as you described (as far as I know). You record separately and sync it in your video editor. I don't know of any program Worth using that will actually record them separately. You can use little tricks to make syncing up easier, like start your recording and say something as soon as you hit a button or see something in the game (that won't be in the final video), that way you can easily sync those 2 things up, split them off the video and now the video is perfectly syn…
