If you don't know programming, or very little then I advise LOVE 2D with LUA. Very easy to pickup and you can make something decent for your first try/prototype

Damn them for wanting a dxdiag. My gaming lappy broke so I only have my work one with its onboard intel graphics (bleeeeeh). They probably wont pick me as my work laptop won't run the game (at least not well), but my normal laptop would, and would be fixed buy the time of beta D:
