My favorite recent animes are FullMetal Alchemist:Brotherhood, Ao No Exorcist, Tiger & Bunny, and Shingeki no Kyojin. Summer Wars was also an amazing film. Don't beat yourself up too much about it. It can be discouraging when you don't know how to get yourself noticed on YouTube. There are a lot of channels out there, and it takes time to build an audience. I feel your pain in that regard, but patience, endurance and enthusiasm are all you need to keep going! You've obviously learned your lesson. Take Noirproxy's advice and contribute to some YouTube creator message boards. We will find our audiences eventually, buddy!

So I've come to the conclusion that the webcam I am using sucks. I would like to invest in a new device for recording video footage for my channel. I really don't have a lot of knowledge on cameras so I'm asking for some advice. I don't plan to use it for audio. Should I go with a web cam or a digital camcorder? Are there any specific recommendations for let's plays or gameplay channels?

So true... pretty much all fanbases have their share of annoying/rude/ignorant fans. The loud obnoxious ones are what gets noticed... as the modest fans don't spam comments, and only post when they have something constructive to say. As said... this is the Internet. It is to be expected, and we just need to exercise a lot of patience.

I don't think I could narrow it down to a single memory.... Maybe the countless hours of Super Smash Bros. Melee me and my friends would play. Hours would go by in what felt like minutes.... All in all just the experience of having friends over after school day after day screaming our heads off playing video games. My parents probably thought we were nuts.

Chrono Trigger! Such an amazing experience overall. Some special mentions would go to Tales of Vesperia, Super Mario RPG, and Mother 3. Skies of Arcadia was great as well.

I just bought a Blue Snowball mic a few days ago. I did some research and this is a popular choice among let's players and game commentary. I got it at staples for about $65, and am very impressed with it so far. The Blue Yeti is another popular choice, but it runs close to $150.

I do have one kicking around somewhere..... just sad that I missed out on it as a kid. Going back and playing old classics isn't the same as playing them when they were all awesome and shiny new. I've been watching a lot of Caddicarus's videos to fill the void, as his videos are largely Ps1 based.

Not entirely sure on the age.... but somewhere in the 4-5 range I believe.... my older brothers copy of Super Mario Bros. 3. Played it so much that he eventually bought me my own copy. Happy times!

Probably Pokèmon. I went berserk for that stuff as a kid. That and the Zelda series.
