Sometimes all people need is a distraction. If you know the circumstances in which you become depressed (i.e. you get sad when alone) then you can easily avoid that by investing in something else.

Better late than never? That's not always true, I was just trying to lighten the mood. Haha. But as I have said before, if there's anything at all you'd like to discuss, I am here on this thread and you can always send me a message.

I just thought it would be a nice idea to have a thread open that I could check everyday and help out people as immediately as I can. In a way I have always wanted to help people feel better about themselves and just wanted to be an all around good person and this seems to be a nice and concise way to do it. So if you have any problems you would like to have some advice to or just want to talk, I am here for listening. Sometimes it's better to talk to someone anonymous than bottle up the problem…

  • Fears - Rejection (or failing) Minor Claustrophobia Weakness - I don't do well with stress, the most minor things stress me out sometimes and I just get depressed about it. But I am getting better, kind of ridiculous, I know.

I typically judge by the facial expressions and body language they give off. If they speak around me I can sometimes judge how they are based upon the cadence of their voice. But I find most judgement-casting unfair so I try not to be too immediate with my opinions on a person before I cactually have an in-depth discussion with them. Sometimes people surprise me, since typically I am pessimistic in my judgement sometimes.

Within the 8 months before my freshman year at college began I lost my two dogs; one was a six year old lab and the other was a 13 year old golden retriever. I grew up with them and was incredibly close to them, so it was rough. But I had enough distractions and school and from friends to keep me going. But I did break down a few times. I broke some stuff out of anger or whatever. So I am truly sorry to hear about all these losses, no matter how recent or not-so-recent it has been. You all have …

  • Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask when I was six is the first game I remember adequately enough. But I have been told I started gaming when I was 3 or 4.

  • 1.) Final Fantasy VII 2.) Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3.) Kingdom Hearts 1 4.) Golden Eye 5.) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Don't even know if KOTOR counts, but I have memories associated with it.)

  • Quote from Irignation: “The Final Fantasy franchise. Hands down.” Absolutely. Square has always been amazing at what they do, even if there are a lot of them. More specifically I would say one of the best I have ever played from that franchise would be Final Fantasy VII. Phenomenal story, such depth to every aspect of it. I played it until my eyes bled, then I cleaned up the blood and played some more. It was captivating and one of the first games I ever really delved into and felt apart of.

I have dealt with this only once before and, though it is a rough situation, all you can do is move ahead. Kind of strange how irrational and unpredictable people can be towards one another.

  • I typically just learn a new skill or take up a new hobby and really invest myself into it. But it really depends on the situation. But hey, learning a new skill and becoming passionate about something can really lead to a better life. In some cases you can look back on what made you sad and scoff or be able to handle it better.
