What he wants to do is have both webcam and ingame in single same video (while recording). One way to do it would be doing entire thing with xplit, however you can NOT adjust your audio/video later, so if you screw up there's nothing you can do. So just record webcam with xplit and game with fraps. When you start editing you just add the webcam video to higher timeline and it will be on top of the game video. Then you can just scale the size of the webcam and move it around to location you want.

Sony movie STUDIO (NOT pro) any version is affordable and are likely to use it for very long time once you get it. No need to upgrade. Pro version has couple features that studio doesnt, but if you dont know what they are or what they do; You dont even need them.
