I finished the whole series a few weeks ago - just a replay. This game gave me many hours of fun and struggle (New Game -> Insanity Difficulty, here I go!).I love the soundtrack, escpecially when the melancholic music kicks in. Whenever I hear it - it brings a lot of feelings back for the Earth lost and fought back, for traitors and friends, for lifts you cannot trust and for education I received in terms of language and culture.

All NES, except for the last one: 1. Batman 2. Doctor Mario 3. Duck Tales 4. Contra 5. Diablo - this is a special one, although the latest one. I didn't understand English back in the day. Going back to it now - it makes so much more sense as well as it creates some nostalgic tears...

Death of Lucas Cane in Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy). Pretty much any death throughout that game is depressing.

    1. Fallout series are at the top of my list. Escpecially the first two. 2. Heroes of might and magic III - all of my childhood consisted of this game. 3. Fahrenheit.

  • Alma from F.E.A.R. I watched "The Ring" (Japanese version) when I was 14 and then I was playing F.E.A.R. for a good few weeks straight after. My room back then had both a TV and a phone, so you could imagine how the movie and the game mixed in my head and my room didn't add any safety. I could only play F.E.A.R. with its original sound about 2 years later - always replaced it with some music before. That done, I enjoy both the movie and the game series now.

  • Reading this thread brings memories... Fallout, GTA 2 and Diablo were the first rated M games. I was...9? It went pretty well. I have enjoyed all of those game series ever since. I have no idea how I acquired those games but the CDs have still survived to this day.
