if the music is copyrighted youtube could take your video down and give you a flag. Not sure if the youtube administrive team cares about people giving credit to the rightful owners or not but the thing that happens when you get flagged is that you can't upload videos over 5 minutes or something, and you can't be a youtube partner I think.

As I said, you could do it in the Chat Box, it's for general stuff anyway.

We do have the Chat Box in the Off-Topic section, but if the case is that you want it to count toward your post count as well, then we'd have to reinstate something more appropriate like a General section. I still think you could stick to the Chat Box though.
