Most things can run Fraps if you them clean enough (not physically...) But if you're playing a game like Diablo III and want to record it, you want a minimum of about 5GB ram. And streaming depends alot on your internet connection as opposed to your ram, but you obviously cant rely on like 2GB of ram of do all the work. All in all, if you have THAT much money to spend, I'd advise going for a Sony instead, since Alienware are part of Dell, I'm a little cautious of them. Dells are hella unreliable…
