Hey, it's just a theory, but what if Pewds turned off the comments until youtube granted mod requests? That'd be great for all the major youtubers, not just the gaming ones. That way, it'll prevent people from making those annoying comments

To be honest, someone giving honest criticism on a Pewds video nowadays is like handing someone an axe and expecting them not to threaten you with it. Even though I'm not a youtuber yet, there seems to be a lot of people here who really enjoy making videos. I guess it's great because you don't need Pewd's approval in order to be successful, but idk. All i can say is good luck to those who entered!

So, there's a time when you want to do something with a passion, but it's something you don't want at the same time. It can occur at any time and at any place, and it can be anything from getting tea and crumpets to getting sleep. Has anyone else had this? I'm just wondering if it's normal human behaviour or not.

People talk about success like it's handed on a silver platter, at times. In fact, it could take one job that makes you think "Welp, I want to do something better than this". Meanwhile, I sit here jobless whilst college comes back into session and so that I can go out and start asking around for jobs.

It depends on how you define "deserved", I guess. I mean, if you started a channel a few days ago and had 40,000 subs without videos, then that doesn't seem right imo. However, Pewds has put a lot of work and time into his channel. He deserves those subscribers.

Not gonna lie, I sometimes hate getting compliments because I feel like the person saying it is laughing inside and thinking that I'm an idiot if I believe that person, especially small compliments such as "You look nice today" or "You're a good guitarist". However, when I get to know someone and they say these types of comments, I feel glad. It could be a case of not knowing the person and believing that compliments are an attack on their part. idk

The way youtube is going at this moment in time (in my opinion), there will be more impersonation channels that aren't necessarily Pewdiepie. In all honesty, the bar with any youtube video can be lowered or raised based on a youtuber. If they're entertaining and show enthusiasm, then that's gonna have a positive impact. If not, then it's the other way. Others say subscriber count is more important because "more subs means the youtuber is more worthy of an audience".
