  • We know that the Source Engine has a lot of restrictions, but we wanted to release something that everyone could play with any PC nowadays. Our original intent was making the game/mod in the Unreal Engine but, we wanted it to be accessible to almost everyone, and most PC's nowadays can handle Source 2007 based games. We're going to constantly test maps and see if the amount of trees on this one produces lag, etc. We plan on releasing multiple maps for the mod; so not all of it takes place in one…

  • Since development of the mod is still pretty fresh we have the same tree model that is shipped with the SDK for Source so we can test code, and make the environments at-least. Then, once the map is completed and near beta-testing stages we're going to go through the map and make more variety in trees that you will see in game. We will also be modelling our very own trees to provide upon release, as for the Skybox I'm currently developing a better looking one now to suit the mood.
