Back when I was 13 and 14, I was constantly told to stop playing guitar (obviously I didn't). Everybody liked my playing except for a couple of kids who specifically tried to piss me off. What they didn't know is that I practiced 2 hours a day every day and that it was my life and nothing apart from my friends and family was anywhere near as important to me.
