It's the third installment of the first-person roleplaying series, The Elder Scrolls. I guess you could compare it to the newer games in the series, like Skyrim, but it is outdated in that sense. You traverse the country leveling up your character and conquering various quests/tasks given to you by the numerous (and somewhat silly) NPCs that roam the land.
