Hi Poods! Here are a few ideas: Design some truly unique, epic bosses. For example, maybe a Kraken that attacks you with tentacles, and to defeat it you must climb the tentacles and attack the head. Or maybe a boss that manipulates the arena to attack? Make the bosses huge. Do the typical damsel in distress, only to find out that the princess is actually the final boss, and the final boss is actually the princess! Maybe have Marzia(?) as another character.
