The lack of voice acting was honestly a disappointment, but not enough to stop watching. If there was some subpar Dubbing involved, then i would be 100% okay with Pewds reading. Unlike in majority of the countries all over the world, voice acting in Japan is highly regarded occupation and there is over 100 schools just for that purpose. Of course, everyone has their personal opinions and bias when it comes to Japanese VA vs Dubbing, but it really makes the experience that much more authentic.
