Again, be yourself. And more importantly, be confident about what you're doing. It doesn't matter if you're not great, but enjoy what you're doing (even if you want to do commentary and you have a crappy voice like me :D).

If you want to do commentary, start with a game that you like, and forget what gender you are. When you see a good gamer play and/or do commentary, you don't think "He/she plays like a guy/girl." A gamer plays the game and enjoy what he does. That's all :).

Hi! I have a Steelseries Siberia V2 headset, and use the integrated microphone to record my commentary. The sound is correct, especially since I discovered how to increase the bass with Audacity, because this mic makes them disappear. However, it records every breath I take, and all the plosive sounds when I talk. Do you think that the use of a small pop filter like this kind for example: dv247.com/microphones/rode-ws-hs1-b-pop-filter--88751 would change a thing? I can't buy a full size pop filt…
