After making 3 custom stories , I'm a good mapper and good scripter , but I don't think i'm able to help in this time. Try to put some new textures , it's always a good way to advertise your custom story because people love new stuff. Try to avoid many key puzzles , it always getting bored. Try to reduce the puzzles and the map size (when you need an object and you need to go 2000 miles far away, it's very annoying).
