I also use the X12s. The sound is awesome and the mic is pretty good. If you want a mic that sits on your desk though, Blue Snowball or Yetis are always good. Obviously depending on your price range. I'd consider how many views and such you have and get something to that effect. Someone like pewdiepie has a ton of fans and such, so he'd probably want the highest quality there is. I think if you want to make a game for PewDiePie, you may want to go into smaller 2D engines instead of 3D ones. But it depends on your skill level/team. 2D ones you can easily make a game like Ib... I shouldn't say easily, but you know what I mean. The programming is very simple, I did that for years. I would say Windows 7 period, you never know what newer software you may want to use in the future. Plus there's always "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" mode... which might loosely bridge it if you need the program to run like XP. However, XP does not have a "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7"
