It seems like Markiplier likes to overrate every game he plays, which is annoying. Mental Hospital is a pretty nice little game, but too cliched in my opinion. Making the game completely dark is a cheapest way to set up the atmosphere. It gets boring very quickly. Played it some days ago and I think I liked it. Even though it's Slender based, it's actually a decent game. There's even some funny moments.

Not bad for an alpha version of the game. Sadly, the gameplay makes it practically a Slender-clone: "Collect N items before monsters kill you" I liked the backstory and the way you find the items, though.
