I would recommend Noragami. I don't know if you watch dubbed/subbed/both, but Noragami is a subbed anime that aired this year. It has a nice blend of comedy, action, and a very slight hint of romance. It is one of my favorite animes in a very long time. My avatar is from this anime as well. :3
