Just want to add that if you're going to be building the PC yourself, you will want to work in an environment that doesn't encourage static to build up quickly. So that means build it in a room where the floor isn't carpet and you aren't wearing clothing that generates a lot of static from just wearing them. Reason i say this is because one little zap can be the end of a computer component especially the CPU. So just remember to ground yourself before starting. You can do this by touching someth…

Sounds interesting, though i'm a little confused, what is the purpose for this? Are you trying to make a game where what you do in game affects what it does irl and vice versa?

  • Have you tried posting this problem on OBS's own forums? You might get a better response there than here. If you are using a webcam that uses the USB interface and so does your headset, then perhaps you should try a different combination of USB ports and see if it solves your issue. Otherwise try a different webcam if you have one.

LONG POST AHEAD! The most noticeable performance benefits in Windows 8 over Windows 7 is the startup, shutdown and restart times. In terms of gaming performance you won't notice much if at all any increases in performance. However what you may notice is that framerates in some games will be more consistent over Windows 7, meaning that you won't have huge gaps between minimum and maximum frame rates for some games like 40-60fps in Windows 7 and more like 50-60fps in Windows 8. (Numbers are just t…

I'm assuming you watch your final video using some video player on your computer before uploading to test if there's any problems first so assuming that is the case and there's nothing wrong there. The next thing you might want to check is the codecs you use to encode your video/audio with. Using h.264/x264 for video and MP3/AAC for audio should work and assuming you're using codecs that youtube supports then im afraid i can't think of anything else that might be the cause other than youtube jus…

I'd probably go with what TisBen says. Also was there a reason why you switched to an A-data SSD over the cheaper Samsung 840 SSD? The samsung is cheaper between the two. I also think you forgot to either add the network items on the Intel build to the AMD one as well or forgot to remove them. One thing you do want to consider when deciding between the two is which games you intend on playing. This is because some games are more optimised on Nvidia cards while others are more optimised on AMD ca…

When you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, with two choices you can make and you're not sure which to choose. Just go with your gut and choose one then go with the flow and don't look back. Once you look back it can potentially bring you down because you "could've" had this or that, but back then you wouldn't have known.

  • My childhood dream was to make video games. Now my current dreams are to get a job as a software engineer, find myself a girlfriend and to turn my life around for the better!

  • The one game i think of that got me to shed a few tears was "To the Moon", i heard that Journey was one that could cause people to cry/shed a tear and i'm eager to play that one myself.

My most hated music...probably would be any sort of "mainstream" music, the stuff you'd repeatedly hear on most popular radio stations. Others include: Dubstep (with some exceptions), metal, screamo, rap, country, folk, opera and classical. Those are just the ones i can think off the top of my head.

  • For me personally i've never got the chance to play with any of the older generation of consoles like the N64 or SNES so i can't say they're my favourite console. The one for me would be the PS3 since it provided features to me that i really liked like the Blu-ray player so the console acted like a media center at the same time. It had wifi so i could stream movies and stuff from my PC to the PS3 when i was in the mood to watch things on the TV screen rather than a monitor. The wireless controll…

Sometimes something similar happens to me where i'd import a video recording and there wouldn't be any video and only sound. Basically what fixes that problem for me is just simply save whatever work you've already done and restart vegas and reload the project file. In most cases it fixes it for me, do it a few more times if it doesn't fix itself since it usually rights itself after a few tries. Otherwise what you can do is do a cheap work around and just transcode the recording file to a simila…
