mhhh... for me it depends on the kind of game. while playing offline, with things like Persona/Skyrim/rFactor i don't listen to anything. instead, when playing online it depends on the game: with fast-paced things like LoL i just let the pc decide what i'll listen, i pick random and let it go; when it's about more relaxing stuff like Minecraft or Don't Starve (or while drawing) i usually listen to soundtracks or calm pieces. may them be instrumental or piano/violin ones.

i think my eyes AND brain would pretty much explode with that huge amount of projectiles to evade.

i've just started using the grayscale method too, it seems "easier" to think where and how to put shadows. i really suggest you to try it out. an example on what i'm talking about (Hidden Content) (Hidden Content) i also got a few ImagineFXs, the illustrations are just awesome. the tutorials are also nice, but i've only tried one about the skin as for now. i have yet to explore the CDs that came with the magazines

i know that feel bro, i'm still learning, but it's all a matter of practicing and practicing till either your eyes bleed or your head blows up. eventually after some time you'll see the improvements. it's sort of hard to notice them while you keep practicing, but when you look back at something you made a year go, you'll see the difference.

it's not really that hard to build an awesome pc, as long as you have the money ofcourse. i usually read that for high-end PCs, poeple use the i5 as a processor, as the i7 is usually wasted, but i guess you can go for that if you want your "godly PC" to be godly for years. i don't really know about video cards, but there a lot of hardware guys in the forums, they'll surely help you better than me. but i think you could go for a SLI/crossfire setup... with like, gtx690s or the ati hd7990s. i thin…

i haven't really lost someone yet, or at least someone i'm really close to, but i was about to lose my father this year due to depression. I think it was 007 Golden Eye, but it wasn't mine. My first console was a PS1, and the first games i had with it were F1 1999 (how i loved that game...) and Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (i think everyone in my family played this one till the end. especially my mother, she loved the tomb raider series)

it's kind of hard to say wich one's the best. i loved FFX for its story, Persona 4 for the immersion amongst the characters. both had many hours of gameplay, extra things to do and were fun to play.
