Role Model
PostMy grandmother for one. She raised four daughters by herself, was married twice (her first husband and my grandfather was a drunk, and her second husband was a bigot - took her for her money), and she sacrificed a lot for her family to keep them fed. She was a fighter until the very end, when she had to face three types of cancer - first breast, than lung, and finally multiple brain tumors took her life. She independent up until the very end when she couldn't afford to walk without support becau…

Peer Pressure
PostI'm a social drinker, but I'm also the age limit. I've been offered to do drugs and I've turned them down, and because their my true friends, they accepted my answer and moved on. They also respect my opinion of it and they don't do it around me. Most of them quit eventually, thankfully. I'm against any type of drug (nicotine included). I think it's so stupid for someone to do. It messes you up. I don't care how "bad" it is for you.

That's why it would have to be about advice, nothing more, and as stated earlier, highly moderated. . Personally, it doesn't matter to me if we do or don't, I just feel that it seems like the majority want it.

Quote from Noirproxy: “The fact that people want a dating section on a video game forum makes me worry. There are plenty of free dating sites out there, why not keep the forum simply on topic?” While I agree with that, there are also some topics on this forum that don't involve gaming already (from past experience, most other forums for other purposes, have the same thing). It should just be a sub category for people to ask advice on. I don't think it should be anything more than that. The Real …

Chest. Full blown view. In the middle of a retail store. At seventeen. In front of customers. I think we're pretty even there.

"Forever Alone" is more for thirty year olds... Because they haven't had the luxury of finding someone. 13yr olds shouldn't even be dating to be "forever alone". And the age limit thing is actually a great idea.

Quote from Ginger Nut: “"You Are Not Alone" by Micheal Jackson. It reminds me of my dad. He died when I was 11. And also Hallelujah because The Voice did the most heart-wrenching tribute to the Sandy Hook victims with that song (it's just that version that makes me tear up) (just...watch the video) and "Ronan" by Taylor Swift (just listen to it)” You Are Not Alone is a beautiful song.

I take after my grandmother. Because of this, I've inherited a chest larger than most, which makes it impossible to wear button shirts. Unfortunately, at my job, that's kind of dress code. When I first started working there, about a month in, I was wearing a really pretty red. At the time, I didn't wear a tank top underneath. Low n behold, I looked down and saw my chest showing, cause a few too many buttons popped open. I now wear a shirt larger than usual, and a tank top. Every time.

[Poll] Dating section
LoveStrength - - Feedback
PostYes for two reasons: Love topics are dominating the Real Life section, so it seems like others are interested. Apparently, there are a lot of people here either interested in someone's love life, or they are clueless and don't know what to do in one. You have my support.

First Kiss
PostFifth grade. Truth or Dare. My brother dared his best friend (who was just one year older) to kiss me. He did. It was quick so I can't really say if I did or didn't like it.

Dating Standards
PostPersonality: Someone uplifting - isn't always so negative on themselves and everything around them. I did that too much in my past - I'm trying to escape that. Someone who is funny and can take a joke - I'm far too sarcastic, and I don't want to have to apologize for every little joke I do - I want them to dish it back =) Someone who thinks I'm beautiful - not hot. Not sexy. Beautiful. Someone who is willing to try different things - and is a little bit a dare devil (sky diving, roller coasters,…

Quote from TrueRedRevenge: “Depression is a hard thing to deal with. Sometimes you just have to really...and I mean REALLY push to do something, and once you do, things get better. Find motivation in simple things. When I had some slight depression, I really struggled to do anything, but I tossed myself into new hobbies and activities and I eventually became happier and well-balanced. I know it is one of the toughest emotional states to get through, but all you can do is forge ahead, and really …

It sounds like you are more into computers, and it's always best to choose the path that you'd love to do, than something you'd do for the money. In the long run, you'd be happier with your choice. Your thinking financially, and while that's something to think about - it's something you could live off of. Mentally, though, if you go into a career you're not interested in, you'll be unhappy. The choice is yours, though =) Do what your heart wants.

I'm going to start doing Vlogs more often (I only have two videos up since I always feel so stupid). I don't think I'll ever tell my mom what I do until the time actually comes. Like if I were to become successful and become a partner, I'd tell her. Otherwise, I'd keep it a secret for the sole fact she doesn't really understand the concept of YouTube. She only goes online for facebook purposes (her and her damn app invites). Why exactly, though, does your mom not want you to do a commentary? As …

I'm a Leo. While I agree with some of the statement, I some of it is kind of iffy. I don't think of myself as a leader... but I guess you can say I am, considering I'm a supervisor and I lead about 18 employees. When I'm with my friends, however, I usually don't care what we do or where we go, and I just follow along =)

PostQuote from Anden120: “..and maybe u guys should start by turning off the computer and trying to go outside ur room.” I kind of take offense to that. Being single doesn't mean we just stay locked up inside, doing nothing but complain about being alone on the computer. It may seem that way, but it's not. At least, not in my case. I work forty hours a week (sometimes more) and when I get home, I'm exhausted. When I'm off, I go out and spend my time with my friends and family. I go to the bar on wee…
