It's like having someone hold up a magazine article in front of the tv while you're trying to watch a film. It's annoying and shouldn't obstruct the viewing of the video at all. Maybe having an ad that comes up while the video is paused? The way (sorry) adult sites do it. I don't mind ads along the outside of the video, stick them anywhere, but just not on the video itself, it's annoying and poo.

Try dropping the quality on the graphics down a tad? I had that problem with Dead Island while recording, it made combat nigh-on impossible to play, but dropping the foliage quality to medium sorted it right out

I meant to play Darkwatch but never got round to it! I've started a series on my channel where I'm going to be playing through obscure FPS games like these - not really crap, but games that have kinda fallen into obscurity. It's called 'FPS Classics' but that's an ironic name because most of the games i'll be playing will be inherently rubbish with some little quirks. I'll add Darkwatch to my list for this series
