Out of experience, Intel cores and AMD cores cause the same amount of problems as each other if your only using them to run simple applications. As soon as you get to try to overclock or overwork any of them the AMD processor will be the first one to burst into flames. I've had 3 AMD Athlon's and only 1 Intel celeron in the last 10 years... so meh. it may be luck or maybe its just that my celeron has only 1 core. Have to agree with brootal on this one, i myself am not a fan for 64 bit systems, they are cumbersome in some areas. Anyway, chrome is indeed faster, but not by much from my testing, and FF is much more easier when it comes to modding, hacking and online website development, so it won its place on my cybershelf. Still, i guess its a matter of personal opinion, Application vs Speed and all.
