Make sure if you are going to upload in 720p you play your game in 720p, and the same with 1080. I made the mistake of rendering a 1080p recording to 720p a few times and the quality was chunkier than I like to admit.

I use the Blue Yeti, and it's excellent. It's cheap for what it is, you're still looking at paying around $100 though. Maybe try the Yeti Snowball if budget is tight?

Amnesia, hands down. Outlast was probably scarier, but the atmosphere in Amnesia is incredible. I love the 19th century gothic feel, more so than the 21st century deviant atmosphere of Outlast.

Old ones, definitely. He has such a high level of expectation on him now that I think his content suffers a little. It used to be solely for fun, now it's basically his job. That can negatively affect content sometimes.
