I personally prefer C++ over anything else because the language and syntax looks clean and is relatively easy to learn. Also, although it's not a programming language of sorts, I know how to write relatively complex SQL queries.

I've noticed I only really play singleplayer games, so I don't have a problem with squeakers or randoms. But LAN gaming is pretty cool :3

Render in WMV at 720p. I doubt many people will watch your videos in 1080p because of how long it takes to buffer and if it'll look exactly the same in 720p. Also, 3 hours is quite short for a 1080p render. My friend was using this 3D rendering software to make a title for his geography project, it was 15 seconds long and took 2 days to render. 2 DAYS. But yeah, render in 720p WMV; WMV is master race.

I would say use Steam for a bit then get the 720 as soon as it comes out. The 720 will probably last you a couple of years, and you don't need to worry about things like OS compatibility and things like that because all the stuff you need is right there.

Think of something that is two or three syllables preferably, but no more than five or six. 16 characters maximum.
